WHAT IS SINGULAIR 10MG?
SINGULAIR 10MG contains Montelukast which belongs to leukotriene receptor antagonist
It works by blocking substances in the body called leukotrienes. Blocking leukotrienes improves asthma and allergic rhinitis
WHAT SINGULAIR 10MG IS USED FOR?
SINGULAIR 10MG is used for the long-term management of asthma in adults and children ages 12 months and older
It is used to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis (outdoor allergies that happen part of the year) in adults and children ages 2 years and older, and perennial allergic rhinitis (indoor allergies that happen all year) in adults and children ages 6 months and older

Talk to your doctor before taking SINGULAIR 10MG, if you
Are allergic to SINGULAIR 10MG or any of its ingredients
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, and herbal supplements
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
For adults and children 12 months of age and older with asthma
Take SINGULAIR 10MG once a day in the evening
Take this medicine every day for as long as your doctor prescribes it, even if you have no asthma symptoms
You may take this medicine with food or without food
For patients 15 years of age and older for the prevention of exercise-induced asthma:
Take SINGULAIR 10MG at least 2 hours before exercise
If you are taking this medicine daily for chronic asthma or allergic rhinitis, do not take an additional dose to prevent exercise-induced asthma
Do not take an additional dose of this medicine within 24 hours of a previous dose
For adults and children 2 years of age and older with seasonal allergic rhinitis or perennial allergic rhinitis:
Take SINGULAIR 10MG once a day, at about the same time each day
Take SINGULAIR 10MG every day for as long as your doctor prescribes it
You may take SINGULAIR 10MG with food or without food
If you take more SINGULAIR 10MG
If you take too many SINGULAIR 10MG tablets, or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention
If you forget to take SINGULAIR 10MG
Take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Never take two doses on the same day
If you stop taking SINGULAIR 10MG
Do not stop taking or lower the dose of your other asthma medicines unless your doctor tells you to do so
STORAGE:
Protect from excess heat and light
Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
