WHAT RUPANEX IS USED FOR?
It is used to relieve the symptoms,
Of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny nose, itching in the eyes and nose
Associated with urticaria (an allergic skin rash) such as itching and hives (localized skin redness and swelling)
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
TALK TO DOCTOR
Talk to your Doctor, if you:
Are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Suffer from kidney or liver insufficiency
Have low blood levels of potassium
Have a certain abnormal pattern to your heartbeat (known prolongation of the QT interval on the ECG)
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Ketoconazole (used to treat fungal infections)
Erythromycin (used to treat bacterial infections)
Medicines for central nervous system (used to treat depression)
Statins (used to treat cholesterol)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Swallow the medicine with a glass of water
It can be taken with or without food
If you take more RUPANEX
If you have accidentally taken more than your prescribed medicine, talk to your doctor immediately
If you forget to take RUPANEX
If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it on the same day. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking RUPANEX
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
STORAGE:
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
