WHAT IS REVOFER 500MG?

REVOFER 500MG contains ferric carboxymaltose

WHAT REVOFER 500MG IS USED FOR?

It is used to treat iron deficiency anemia in adult who have :

Intolerance to oral iron or who have not responded well to treatment with oral iron
Non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

TALK TO DOCTOR

Tell your healthcare provider about all your medical conditions, including if you:

Have had an allergic reaction to iron given into your vein
Have high blood pressure

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding talk to your doctor before taking this medicine

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking:

Oral iron preparations
Prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Your doctor or nurse will administer REVOFER 500MG diluted by injection as infusion
REVOFER 500MG is given intravenously (into your vein) by your doctor in 2 doses at least 7 days apart

STORAGE:

Store at room temperature between (15-25°C)
Keep out of reach of children
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Do not accept if vial seal is broken
