RANOGARD 500MG contains Ranolazine

WHAT RANOGARD 500MG IS USED FOR?

RANOGARD 500MG is used to treat chronic angina (chest pain)
It may be used with other medicines that are used for heart problems and blood pressure control

WARNING & PRECAUTION:

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

Have or have a family history of a heart problem, called ?QT prolongation? or ?long QT syndrome?
Have liver or kidney problems

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

It is not known if RANOGARD 500MG will harm your unborn baby and passes into your breast milk
If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or breast feeding consult your doctor before taking this medicine

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

It is not known if RANOGARD 500MG is safe and effective in children

DRIVING & USING MACHINES

RANOGARD 500MG can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. If you have these symptoms do not drive a car, use machinery, or do anything that needs you to be alert

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your healthcare provider, if you take the medicines

Ketoconazole, itraconazole for fungus infection
Clarithromycin for infection
Nefazodone for depression
Nelfinavir, ritonavir, lopinavir and ritonavir, indinavir, saquinavir for HIV
Rifampin, rifabutin, rifapentine for tuberculosis (TB)
Phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine for seizures
St.John?s wort (Hypericum perforatum)
Medicines for scarring (cirrhosis) of your liver, cholesterol, diabetes, transplant and mental problems

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Take RANOGARD 500MG exactly as your doctor tells you
Take this medicine by mouth, with or without food
Swallow the medicine whole
Do not crush, break, or chew RANOGARD 500MG before swallowing

If you take more RANOGARD 500MG

If you take too much RANOGARD 500MG, call your doctor, or go to the nearest emergency room right away

If you forget to take RANOGARD 500MG

If you miss a dose of RANOGARD 500MG, wait to take the next dose of RANOGARD 500MG at your regular time. Do not make up for the missed dose

If you stop taking RANOGARD 500MG

Do not stop taking RANOGARD 500MG without first consulting your doctor
