PREMARIN VAGINAL contain conjugated estrogen which belongs to a group of medicine called Estrogen derivative. It is used after menopause to treat moderate to severe dryness, itching, and burning in and around the vagina. This cream maintains the estrogen levels in the body in women who are undergoing or have attained menopause thus reducing the inflammation of the vaginal wall by preventing it from becoming thin and dry.
The common side effects of PREMARIN VAGINAL are headache, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, abdominal cramps, breast pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, fluid retention, vaginal burning or itching. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
