HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?

Take one tablet each day. Generally a dose of 20 mg or 40 mg a day is recommended. However, your doctor will decide the strength of the drug, according to the condition you are being treated and how severe it is.

HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?

Swallow Izra tablets whole with a glass full of water. Do not crush or chew it. If done so the tablet may not work effectively.
You must swallow the whole tablet with one glass full of water. It may be taken with or without food. Do not crush or chew it. If you find difficulty in swallowing the tablet follow these steps:

1. Take a half glass of non carbonated water(do not take mineral water or any other liquid drink)
2. Place the tablet in the water and stir it gently
3. Do not crush the tablet
4. Tiny pellets would be formed
5. Drink the pellets with water within 30 minutes, do not chew the pellets

If you cannot even drink, then the water along with pellets can be administered through a gastric tube.
Esomeprazole must be taken once a day. It is best to take it at the same time daily because it shows best results and helps to remember when to take the drug.

OVERDOSE:

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

Cilostazol

Diazepam
