EMBETA R 5MG contains Metoprolol and Ramipril

WHAT EMBETA R 5MG IS USED FOR?

It is used in the treatment of hypertension

WARNING & PRECAUTION:

Talk to your doctor, if you:

Are allergic to any of the other ingredients in this medicine
Have a history of angioedema
Have severe liver or kidney problems
Have diabetes
Have any heart problems

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

This medicine is not recommended during Pregnancy and Breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

DRIVING & USING MACHINES

Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine since it may cause lightheadedness or dizziness

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

Sacubitril with valsartan, reserpine, clonidine (used to treat blood pressure)
Lithium, fluoxetine, paroxetine (used to treat depression)
Medicines used to treat diabetes
Amiodarone, quinidine, digoxin, nitrates (used to treat heart problems)

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you to do
Swallow this medicine whole with enough water
Do not crush or chew the medicine

If you take more EMBETA R 5MG

If you take more of this medicine, contact your doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately

Symptoms of overdose: hypotension, bradycardia

If you forget to take EMBETA R 5MG

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time for your next dose

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking EMBETA R 5MG

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

STORAGE:

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
