WHAT ELINA 10MG IS USED FOR?
It is used to reduce the symptoms of:
Hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis)
Other allergic reactions causing irritation of the eyes and nose (perennial allergic rhinoconjunctivitis)
Urticaria (an itchy skin rash, like nettle rash)
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
TALK TO DOCTOR
Talk to your Doctor, if you:
Are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine
Have liver or heart problems
Have ever had an irregular heartbeat or a slow heart rate
Have an abnormal ECG (electrical recording of your heartbeat)
Have an abnormal levels of salts in the blood, in particular low potassium levels
Have diabetes
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
It should be avoided in pregnancy, particularly during the first three months
It passes into breast milk, therefore it should not be used during breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Erythromycin, clarithromycin, azithromycin (antibiotic)
Ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole (antifungal medicine)
Cimetidine (used to treat stomach ulcers)
Ciclosporin (an immunosuppressant)
Nifedipine (used to treat high blood pressure or heart disease)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
The usual dose is one tablet (10 mg) daily for adults, including the elderly and children aged 12 years and over
The tablets should be taken with plenty of water
If you take more ELINA 10MG
If you think you have taken too many tablets of ELINA 10MG contact your doctor or nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take ELINA 10MG
If you have forgotten to take a tablet of ELINA 10MG, take the next tablet at the usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet
If you stop taking ELINA 10MG
Inform your doctor if you wish to stop your treatment before finishing the course of treatment
STORAGE:
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
