DISTACLOR CD 375MG contains cefaclor which is an antibiotic
WHAT DISTACLOR CD 375MG IS USED FOR?
It is used to treat:
Bronchitis
Infection of lung tissue (pneumonia)
Bladder (cystitis) and kidney infections
Throat infections including tonsillitis and pharyngitis
Middle ear infections (otitis media)
Skin and soft tissue (e.g. muscle) infections
Infection of the sinuses (sinusitis)
WARNING & PRECAUTION:

Talk to your Doctor, if you:
Are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Have a history of gastrointestinal disease, inflammation of the colon (colitis)
Have severe kidney problems
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents
DRIVING & USING MACHINES
This medicine does not affect your ability to drive or use machines
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Warfarin (used as a blood thinner)
Probenecid (used to treat gout)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
If you take more DISTACLOR CD 375MG
If you take more than your prescribed dose, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take DISTACLOR CD 375MG
If you miss a dose, take one as soon as you can. If you have missed several doses, tell your doctor
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking DISTACLOR CD 375MG
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS OF DISTACLOR CD 375mg:
SERIOUS
• Sudden wheeziness, difficulty in breathing, swelling of the eyelids, face, lips or limbs, rash or itching (especially affecting your whole body)
• Serious peeling or blistering of the skin
• Severe diarrhoea, possibly with blood or mucus
COMMON
• Nausea, vomiting
• Itching, dizziness, breathlessness, weakness
• Red wheals on the skin (urticaria)
• Rash with widespread joint pain and / or stiffness, swollen lymph glands, fever and possibly, cloudy urine
• Swollen arms or legs
• Bruising or a very tired feeling
• Damage to your liver or kidneys which can only be detected by a blood and / or urine test
• Jaundice (yellow skin and eyes)
• Agitation
• Nervousness, confusion
• Sleeplessness
• Tight muscles
• Seeing or hearing things (hallucinations)
• Itching of the vagina caused by thrush (candidiasis)

Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
